Here's how it breaks down.

Part 1: Think

You'll answer the 12 key questions of the Blueprint that you don't know you need to ask, so you can map out your book with complete clarity in all key areas.

You’ll build out the entire structure of your book: title, subtitle, cover copy, table of contents, chapters, exactly what goes in the chapters and where they go, and a crystal-clear outline so you build in narrative drive: this is where your readers can't wait to turn the page and you can see the complete unfolding of your book.

You complete and revise the Blueprint over a series of deadlines. You get margin comments, an editorial letter and a Video Call for each deadline. The feedback highlights your book’s strengths along with specific areas that need attention as well as actionable next steps for you to take. 

Part 2: Craft

If you want a traditional book deal you don't need to write the book first: you need a stand-out book proposal and sample chapters.

This is where you get to create a detailed landscape of your book so that an agent understands how it's relevant, necessary and urgent to the marketplace right now. You also develop and craft two chapters of your most awesome writing. Don't worry if you think your writing isn't 'good enough:' here's where you become masterful in it!

You complete and revise the Book Proposal & Sample Chapters over a series of deadlines. You get margin comments, an editorial letter and a Video Call for each deadline. The feedback highlights your book’s strengths along with specific areas that need attention, as well as actionable next steps for you to take.

Part 3: Position

We strategise your pitch and find all the right-fit agents, and draft and edit the Query Letter which is effectively a sales letter that grabs an agent's attention and gets you in the door.

I research and hand-select upto 40 prospective right-fit agents and publishers for you to pitch and send you the Agent spreadsheet for you to review. 

You receive a Pitch Guide that shows you how to write a Query Letter. You draft and re-draft the letter over a series of deadlines. You get margin comments and an Editorial Letter for each deadline. The feedback highlights your Letter's strengths and specific areas that need attention, as well as actionable next steps so you know exactly what to do.

I We have a 1hr Strategy Call to discuss and agree your Pitch Strategy and discuss the Query Letter. You revise the Query Letter and once it's polished, you start sending it out.

Step 4: Draft

While you're waiting to hear back from agents and publishers, you come to a weekly coaching call so you can continue to get the support, advice and motivation you need to keep pitching.

You also use this time to draft and revise your manuscript, following the outline you've already developed and the feedback you've received.

We discuss and review your goals, set deadlines and review your writing while keeping the focus on strategy the whole way. So you get to the finish line.
